About
André Ribeiro, born in Bordeaux/France in 1953,
- studied jewellery design with Prof. R. Reiling at the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences from 1976 to 1981. Self-employed since 1982,
- 1982-1985 worked as a freelance designer for the Pforzheim jewellery industry.
- 1989-1997 Lectureship at the Pforzheim College of Design.
- 1990-1999 Freelance designer for Montblanc International-Hamburg.
He started his own jewellery line in 1984. This won the Red Dot Award in 1999 and is a permanent part of the collections of the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York (1989), the Pforzheim Jewellery Museum (2003) and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (2004). Lives and works in Berlin since 2011.
